Lingoban uses cookies and browser storage that are necessary for sign-in sessions, protected application routes, language preference, and storing cookie choices requested by the user.

Cookie choices are stored in cc_cookie, lingoban.diagnosticsConsent (granted or denied), and lingoban.analyticsConsent (granted or denied). TTS playback and shadowing flows may also use limited browser storage for playback state or cache where needed for performance and continuity.

Essential cookies and storage are used to confirm access to protected pages after sign-in, align browser session state with server-side route protection logic, and remember language and cookie choices.

On logout or expiry, the server-visible session cookie is cleared so access to protected routes is withdrawn at the same time.

Lingoban enables optional cookies and related local browser storage for error diagnostics (Sentry) and usage analytics (PostHog) only after you grant consent in the cookie banner.

The optional technologies are not used for cross-site tracking or advertising. Error diagnostics is limited to error reports used for troubleshooting, and usage analytics is limited to page views and usage flows used to improve the service.

Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in persistence, protected page access, language preference, or audio playback flows from working properly. If you withdraw error diagnostics or usage analytics consent, the corresponding optional collection is disabled again.

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, and you can change error diagnostics and usage analytics consent separately through the cookie settings link in the Lingoban footer.
