In Monday’s class, Ms. Schmidt asks everyone to show a family photo. Leo shares a picture of his big Italian family; Ms. Schmidt shows her husband and three dogs; there’s a form asking whether someone is single or married, male or female; and after class three friends meet in the park. 26 sentences about man, woman, boy, girl, teenager, adult, married, single, partner, relative, and acquaintance are woven into one episode.
